Collaboration fails to work in "Read" activity

Description

Unable to collaborate in Read activity . Can see and join activity, but collaboration does not work at all.
To reproduce:

  1. Open Read activity v108.2 in one XO (say XO-a)
  2. Share the activity with other XO (say XO-b)
  3. Now click on "choose something to read" icon

Expected result: Journal entry should open and user should able to select the document
Actual result: Nothing happened when clicked on "choose something to read" icon

Tested Read v110 on latest AU build and found the collaboration works

Steps followed:

  1. Open read activity v110 on one of the XO(say XO-a)
  2. Choose a book to read from the journal
  3. Now share the activity with other XO
  4. Xo-b joins the activity shared by Xo-a

Result: An alert was shown in Xo-b as "starting connection" and next " receiving book" and finally opens the shared file.
