Description
The text near the screen borders is difficult to manipulate with touch. We need research if is possible set a margin or change the view to improve this.

Need a new abiword rpm available here http://dev.laptop.org/~gonzalo/olpc12/
The activity is compatible with older rpms, if not available, the border will not be displyed.

A option I found to solve this is enable the Print Layout view, and hide the rulers.
To do that, we need do a change in abiword. I already proposed the change upstream, waiting a reply. For reference, the patch needed is attached.
