Description
Touch long-press on a menu entry in a palette dismisses the palette with no action.
Test case:
1) In home favourite zoom view
2) long press an activity
3) in the palette long press Start New
Results:
The entry highlights when you press, but the palette closes with no action after the long-delay
Expectations:
Either that A) the long-press delay is not triggered and when the user finally releases it it treated as a button release triggering the action, or B) the long-press delay is triggered and the action is triggered (FWIW right click a menu entry triggers it just like a left click does).

Yes! This feature of creating palette on long press is unnecessary . Because as you release the button the palette disappears.
Never came across this myself, I will see if there is an easy fix.
