I'm in favour of doing this change, though I would patch higher in the stack, as secore is an external dependency and we should modify it as little as possible.
Don't worry about submitting a new patch, this one is quite straightforward.
Wonder if I should do a new tarball release or if distros would be adding a patch to their packages?

since thats only 0.82 problem (and only x86_64) I think packaging looks batter. I include that patch to Gentoo and ALTLinux packages
