Description
There are no automatic session items saved to the Journal on Ubuntu 8.10. When I explicitly click to save a session within an Activity, it does not appear in the Journal.

Mokurai, please paste in the output of "apt-cache madison sugar" so I can see which package you are using.

Mokurai, also "apt-cache madison python-olpc-datastore" and "apt-cache madison sugar-journal-activity" please.

Mokurai, also one more thing to try: Please test using a different profile which you haven't used before, in case there is some problem with the indexing of the datastore in your current profile, for example:
SUGAR_PROFILE=ubuntu PRESENCESERVICE_DEBUG=1 SUGAR_LOGGER_LEVEL=debug sugar-emulator
You will then find the logs in ~/.sugar/ubuntu/logs
