Description

When I launch an activity and it fails we get to see the "Stop" button in-order to stop the activity. Now if we move to another activity by launching it etc, then I cannot come back to this failed activity so I cannot view the "Stop" button again and the activity forever stays in the failed state.

Thanks. However. Works for me, closing notabug.

  • the failed to start with "Stop" button can be recalled by using the frame (key f6 or mouse gesture), then select the pulsing icon from the top of the frame,
  • even if a previous failed to start is present, an new instance of the activity can be started, which will either start properly (if the cause is resolved), or fail again (if not),
  • in both situations, the "Stop" button can be used to remove the failed to start.

Tested with XO-1.5, Fedora 18, Sugar 0.107.0 plus all patches on master branch.
