I had some trouble uploading an SSH key to Gitorious. I got it working after a quick Google search revealed that Gitorious is very pick about the key format - ​http://groups.google.com/group/gitorious/browse_thread/thread/ee9deeca0a13963e/f1654ca2c9436e45?lnk=raot&pli=1

It would be nice to have a blurb in the FAQ about this. I am open to writing documentation in the wiki about it instead, with a link somewhere on Gitorious if this seems better.

Another topic to include is how to create an SSH key in Windows and Linux (ssh-keygen and PUTTYgen respectively).

If you do write the relevant paragraph for the FAQ, I will commit it to our local gitorious branch and help you push it upstream.

Keeping this in the wiki is a bit less useful because people are likely to overlook it.
