Enabling subpages is useful for meeting notes, among other things (see http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Community_testing_meetings). Howto at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgNamespacesWithSubpages#Enabling_for_a_namespace (copy-pasting 1 line of PHP code, <5min for someone with server access).
