Description
As discussed on mail list, seems a reasonable easy target to expose storage space occupied by a Journal entry in its detail view. Perhaps some discussion about what language to use is needed? How about just the usual bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes language to start with. Perhaps an additional step would be to hint, for an entry 1% or greater than the total Journal space, would be to mention % of Journal used by the entry. Not essential, but this might help put the size in context for kids (and some adults)!

How about Eben's original design which exposes size (as well as some other metadata) in the details view? Seems good to me:
