I was posting from Firefox in Vista, and on 2 attempts I received a server error message flashing very briefly about a missing file or record in what looked like a server directory.

I was able to replicate the same error. I checked one of the forum topics and posted a test response that includes a file attachment and the error appeared briefly. Initially, I thought it was just a write permission on the "moodledata" directory but when I checked it, it's correct.

Also, this is not true to all postings. I was able to post successfully with file attachments.

Will investigate this further.

Thanks!

I captured this error message:

ERROR: Could not find or create a directory (/home/xoprod/www/moodledata/11/moddata)

This was while testing a post to the 'Data and processes' forum ( http://schools.sugarlabs.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=297)

Thank you for capturing the error. Still can't find the problem. All permissions are correct but the problem still persists. I'm currently doing tests and experiments.

Thanks!

I've already posted on the Moodle boards regarding this.
