Quinteti-3 lockup on xo-1.0 os802b5

After much quinteti play, mojo was invited to Implode. After a few games of impode, returned to quinetit and found it locked up. The screen contains the typical "process not responding" grey background with light grey bar at the top and white rectangle on the top left.

Quinteti does not stop when stopped from the frame. The process is still running according to ps and is not consuming any cpu according to top. Is there a way to do a thread dump and discover what is wrong (like jstack with java)?

The log file shows an Uncaught top-level exception related to sound (see attached log file). The timestamps in the log aren't meaningful, so I can't tell whether this exception was contemporaneous to the lockup.
