I won't get around to work on this any time soon. But I am cc'ing Milan who made the latest FreeCell versions.
OTOH, FreeCell is also included in Etoys, so apparently the Italian translation is not finished yet? Pootle is down at the moment so I can't look.

I believe it is the existence of a standalone freecell activity (outside of the main etoys bundle) that prompted carlo to request it's set up for localization. If a separate PO file is created, it should be possible for localizers to simply copy strings from the main etoys project (if they've already been translated).

This should probably be component = localization
bert would need to generate the POT file, placew it in a po directory in the repo and add user:pootle as a commiter.
