Problems when closing the first tab

Description

If you close the first tab (Sugar Labs home page) the tab strip correctly disappears, but if you then revisit a page that should spawn more tabs (i.e type in www.sugarlabs.org and click on the wiki link), you do not ever get to see the tab strip again. Closing the 2nd tab does not seem to have this bug, only closing the 1st tab causes this issue.

This is the default behavior in Firefox. If we really decide that we want a different user experience, we may be able to do something about it. For now I recommend leaving this at-is for the next release.

Ouch, nasty! Just confirmed this on the Mac version of FireFox, I'd call it an upstream bug (or bad design decision). Time to move on...

Current behaviour is to open the link in the same tab, and the tab strip is always shown. So I think we can close the ticket. Erikos, what do you think?

S, the sugarlabs page does not open pages in a new window anymore. This test case does not work anymore. But as stated by the Tomeu and Gary above, this seem to be upstream behavior, I would say we can close this one.
