Description

So far only objects in 'play mode' can be moved around. To position an object it would be able to move it as well in the 'stop mode'. Has been requested as well several times at the Linuxtag booth.

Sorry, no movement on this yet.

Asaf: With all your code exploring, any opinions as to how we might manage this? Looks to be a request that would need to effect several layers of code (at least physics and Elements)?

I'm pretty sure we'll need an Elements modification. I haven't found anything really useful. I once thought that we could do it by instead of stopping time we could put everything to sleep and if somebody tried to move a body we should wake it up. If I recall correctly, I found a problem with this solution but I'll have to check again. It also may be a good idea to discuss the behavior we're aiming for.
