I was running jhbuild and epydocs from sugarlabs1 and sftping the resulting docs to my shell account on devler to serve from api.sl.org.
But, now that sugarlabs1 is down.

sugarlabs1 is not down. We were planning to reinstall it, but I can save and restore your home (or any other directory) across the reinstallation.
You could also run sugar-jhbuild on Develer's server (trinity) if the cron job does not run more than once or twice a day (and maybe run it with nice and ionice).

Couldn't you just use the current shell account until we move it to the new machine?
