Description
At the moment it can be accessed by pressing ctrl when doing a selection. Ideally it should be visible as well in the UI.
Maybe another button? Design team, I am listening ;p

Hmmm, usually the shift key is used to constrain the aspect ratio of selections and other tools. Is there a reason to use ctrl instead?
In any case, I'd say this type of preference is the perfect candidate for tool-specific preferences, and should live as a checkbox in the secondary palette for the selection control(s).
