Description
We need the ability to install drivers that Fedora does not include.
It looks like we will need a network driver for the Computer Lab computers at the Gardener School so this is a blocker for the SoaS pilot.

A bit more background... there will inevitably be drivers that are not shipped with Fedora. We should define a procedure for installing such drivers (perhaps on a master key that a teacher uses to replicate).

- Component changed from sugar to SoaS
- Owner changed from tomeu to sdz
- Status changed from new to assigned
I'm guessing this is about SoaS as Sugar doesn't deal with any hardware at all (regardless of what some people say to the press).

- Resolution set to wontfix
- Status changed from assigned to closed
We're adhering Fedora's policy of shipping packages. People who need additional drivers are encouraged to install them or to create a customized spin. The latter one is documented here (but slightly out of date): http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_on_a_Stick/Customization
For example the Broadcom chip set.
