Description
Joyride 2573 on an XO. The Journal icon is shown as an available activity in the home list view (you're allowed to make it a favourite, launch it, erase it(!)). If you try to launch it, it fails and kills the otherwise previously working Journal. If you do try to switch to Journal after that, you'll lock up the Sugar GUI and need to reboot from a console.
After making it a favourite, it can not be removed from the favourite view (though you can un-favourite the Journal icon does not go away). Other real activities can be added/removed from favourites without issue.

Given the serious consequences for the user, I'm going to blacklist it from appearing on the home views. Though packagers should stop putting an outdated package on their distros.

Maybe because pilgrim is forcing sugar-journal to be in the images?
http://dev.laptop.org/git?p=projects/pilgrim;a=blob;f=streams.d/olpc-development.stream
We should remove that rpm because the journal is integrated in the shell now (iow, is not a bundle)
