When selecting one or more concepts, the option COPY copies the selection to the clipboard but the option PASTE doesn't work, not even when dragging the selection from the frame to the workspace.

Thanks for the report, copy & paste are both on my list for needing more work as there are a number of missing features here. Currently copy and paste has only been tested to be working with text to and from the clipboard.

Have pushed to git code enhancements for both the copy and paste toolbar buttons (will be released in Labyrinth-8). The buttons now enable/disable when you have text selected to copy, or a valid text insertion point for pasting into. This should help make it clear what content you can currently copy and paste. I'm leaving this ticket open as I will still look at possible enhancements to implement copy/pasting of images, drawings, whole thoughts, or multiple thoughts - but this will be quite a significant effort and amount of code for some future release version.

Just removing the 0.88 milestone as Labyrinth is not part of the core Sugar release cycle.

It's working in Labyrinth v 12.

Please confirm and close.

I can copy and paste selecting text from rectangles and using Control + c and Control + v, but I can not copy and paste elements.

Besides, the paste button is never able to be clicked.

I tested this with the git version of Labyrinth.

In XO 1.5 with os9 the Paste button works properly.

In fact, I test it on Fedora 16 with jhbuild and it works properly too.

My last comment was in Debian Testing, so maybe some package there is going wrong.

Please, open a new ticket to improve the behavior of the Copy & Paste functionality.

How is this supposed to work for pasting? I also do not see the paste button made available.

In Labyrinth 12.1, I see the copy button appearing when editing text in a bubble and I highlight some text. I do not see the paste button ever become available when in text entry mode and the I-bar cursor appears in a bubble.

Dragging the text selection from the Sugar Frame to the text bubble does not work, and Ctrl-V does not work.
