perhaps we could replace the images from F11 with some other screens where both the fedora and sugarlabs brands appear together.

This is absolutely urgent to get it ready in time for the upcoming release! In our case, rebuilding some packages might be sufficient.

This has been fixed in the snapshots as of April 3rd. We're now including some basic artwork for the bootscreen. Improvements are really welcome, though. :)

I'd really give this a +1!
There are some things to point out, though. We might for example want to include the Fedora Remix trademark, as OLPC is doing it in their latest 801 testing release. The OLPC ticket is here: http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/9140

Maybe it would be possible to port something like this to plymouth. The point is that this just needs to be done! So we'd need to find somebody for that... dunno, if it would be possible until April 7th, though (raising priority for that).
