The Xo irc client doesn't recognize simple irc commands like /nick or /me. It also doesn't support abbreviations like /j for /join.

Both IRC-5 and IRC-4 seem to be working with commands just fine for me. I use /nick /me /join all the time, but I'm not a heavy IRC user so there may be missing shortcuts I don't know about.
