Description
Sugar instructions indicate that hovering over my network avatar will give me an option to connect and then a "secondary" window will open into which I will give my network password. I'm getting no "secondary". If I click "connect" from the avatar there is no indication that there is any connecting going on. Also in bottom panel where it would seem to be a location for changing networks all that is offered is AD HOC 1. This AD HOC 1 area only offers the option to "Disconnect" and if that is clicked all networking is off until restart. I'm trying to provide a free, in all senses, computer here in a U.S. public housing project before the weekend. Not having much luck at Trisquel Forum. I'm not using the Sugar computer to write this.

it works for me when i try on sugar 0.110, on fedora or ubuntu, so i guess you were using an old version, or trisquel has not included necessary packages for network manager. the file .sugar/default/logs/shell.log will likely contain further information about the problem. i can't recommend trisquel, as i have not tested it recently.
