File transfer does not show progress or completion

When a user receives a file from another user and clicks on its icon in the upper left corner, Sugar does not indicate at all that the file is being transferred and whether the transfer completed successfully. Thus, it would be very useful to display a message indicating that the transfer is ongoing and another message that the transfer completed, so that the user is not in the dark about what happened.
