- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
You have to be in group sugardl in order to write in the download area.
I've now added you, sorry for the inconvenience.
As a side note: why aren't we using activities.sugarlabs.org to upload sources too?

To be honest, I have no idea, I'm just following the herd regarding Activity source uploads. I'm not even sure who's using them, how, or why; an .xo bundle is just a zip of the identical set of files, there's no magic sauce that I'm aware of.

I think we should bring up a discussion on sugar-devel@.
Please, cc me if you do the initial posting.

I think it wold be great, but I think we would need to adapt the code for that. Would be awesome if we could do it upstream.

There is currently a view source option in aslo. It lets you view the contents of an XO bundle.
Is downloads used as the canonical source for distributions to grab the latest source foe activities?

Yeah, but distros want the actual sources that were used to build the bundle.

Yup, but it's a problem to have to give permissions to each activity author.

Let's do possible changes after the 0.84 release. For now the tarballs should be present at sunjammer:/upload/sources/sucrose/fructose
@bjordan thanks for taking this task, we are close now :)
I'm no admin, but you might want to try in /upload/sources/sucrose/fructose/
