How to confirm:

  • install fresh OS of the latest test image ​http://build.laptop.org.au/xo/os/sugar-100/build-18/
  • don't connect to AP, populate the proxy section with bogus info.
  • connect to AP, open Browse and confirm web internet access times out.
  • open updater, watch as the information is returned from the web.
