Description
I think Bernie made me a shell account, but it won't let me log in. It always says:
Permission denied (publickey).
Could someone look at this for me?

Your account (jminor) seems fine. You have one dss key installed with id joshm@pascal. The logs don't say anything about your failed login attempts, which is surprising.
Perhaps your dss key is being rejected for some security reason I didn't know about? Do you also have an rsa key we could test with?
