Description
Documents directory was introduced in 0.94 to share documents between Sugar and non-Sugar applications. The downside of this feature is redundancy from Sugar point of view (the Journal should be the storage place).
This feature might be considered as a "moving" Documents' files back to Journal. The non-Sugar part is the same, non-Sugar apps need to save/load files to special directory in fs.
The high level scenario is simple:
- non-sugar apps save/load files either explicitly (via File menu) or implicitly (as TuxPaint does) to/from some special directory (would be useful to have this directory in Gnome's Places) in fs
- all (eg, for LO) or some (eg, for TuxPaint) of these files will be accessible from the Journal
