Description
TamTam Jam has a "Pan" control available on the secondary panel of each instrument. However I can set it to "0" (presumably Left) or "1.0" (presumably Right) and do not notice any change in where the sound comes out, even with headphones and lifting one ear up. The sound generated always seems to be centered.
I saw that the XO-1 I heard this on had both "Mix" and "Mix Mono" ALSA controls, but setting the "Mix Mono" control to 0% and muting it did not solve the issue. I also looked for signs of other controls which could result in audio being reduced to less than two channels, but did not spot any.
Seen in OLPC OS 11.2.0 os14 with TamTamJam-56.
