tested on an xo-1.5, it's working although it's not fully sugarized.

I suspect this is a memory allocation issue. log attached on an xo-1

Reports in Uruguay say that ​http://download.ooo4kids.org/es/node/1082/download/OOo4Kids1.0-en-es-fr.xo

is working o.k on XO-1, but it's not recommended for memory constrains.
It could be installed if the XO has an SD expansion memory.
