From Tabs:

we keep getting stuck in the castle as there is often no door open
there are black doors, brown doors, and white doors, initially we think we
can only go through white doors, learned that we can go through a black door
if carrying a ladder in pack
didn't found out how to open brown doors
didn't find out the purpose of many objects
did learn to put jewels in the chest, use snorkel gear, and spells to get
out of rooms with no doors unlocked, think we discovered purpose of cape

Action: communicate to developer.

All my activities are designed to use no words at all so that they are truly international. I attempt to make all functions discoverable - for example mousing over the black, brown and white openings will reveal what they are.

Discovering what everything is for is very much part of each activity.

However for English speakers I have prepared detailed notes for Castle with suggested class activities. These have always been available on the Castle Sugar Labs page:

I'm going to close this bug. becuase castle has instructions, (thougt these have to be translated), i agree with no-use of words having in mind that our activities have to be international. i have no feedback yet from deployments, but we can open new bugs when this happens.
