I used a smaller font and moved the label up (by making it label-style 1).

I have no idea why this doesn't work from the GNOME version. Works fine from within Sugar.

Figured out the problem. Had nothing to d with within/without of Sugar. Had to do with whether or not the stack was collapsed upon loading the project. A lack of parallelism in the labels for sandwichbottom and sandwichcollapsed was causing the font sizes to be set wrong. Fixed in git.
