Description
If you insert a USB flash drive, go to the Journal, and click on a .xol file on the USB drive, Sugar attempts to unpack it to ~/Library and add it to the OLPC home page's expanding content library. Once you fix bug #1748, this works on OLPC build os852 (10.1.2 that incorporates Sugar 0.84.16) on an XO-1.
But then there is no way to remove the content from ~/Library and the home page. Installing from USB doesn't seem to create any record in the Journal for the content, so there's no .xol in the Journal that you can Erase (which normally triggers the uninstall of the content bundle).
To avoid this, first copy .xol to the Journal or "download" it from the file:/// URL of the USB flash drive; either creates a record for the .xol in the Journal.
(I seem to recall that Sugar Labs has plans to unify content and activities that would make this and other .xol bugs go away.)
