Patch incorporated into olpc-switch-desktop-0.7-4 for Dextrose2. Confirmed problem is resolved.
Patch needs to be upstreamed to 0.90 branch

os2dx2 does not have the add-scroll-view.patch.
Patching os2dx2 with 0001-Fix-for-SL-2256.patch worked fine.
BTW is it possible to have the full path in the patch. There are almost 10 view.py and none sugar/view.py ... This makes hard for any user to use/test
