Trouble with Live USB Creator

Reported by: kjorg50 Owned by: mchua pbrobinson sdz
Priority: Low Milestone:
Component: Sugar on a Stick (SoaS) Version: SoaS 2 (Blueberry)
Severity: Minor Keywords:
Cc: Distribution/OS: Fedora
Bug Status: Needinfo

Description

I have used Live USB Creator once before for Sugar on a Stick v2 Blueberry and it worked, but now when I try to put SoaS again on a different USB it doesn't work. I am attempting to put SoaS on a 2GB SanDisk Cruzer USB drive, and I am using a computer with Windows XP. The problem occurs when I click the "Create Live USB" button. It says:

Downloading soas-2-blueberry.iso...
Download failed: Requested Range Not Satisfiable
You can try again to resume your download

I have tried with different amounts of persistent storage from 0 MB to the maximum amount and it prints these three lines every time.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I am not familiar with that particular error message, but you may want to download the .iso file before running LiveUSB Creator. You can then use that image repeatedly to make as many sticks as you want. (It is probably already on your machine, because, as far as I know, LiveUSB Creator does not remove the downloaded image. So try using the "Use existing Live CD" option instead of the "Download Fedora" option.
