Description
XO-1.5, F11 os116, Sugar 0.84.14, speak-14.
No sound in any case. "Mouth" is not even moving. Like there is no detection of the input text.
Nothing in the log other that the No GtcAcceleration warning.
Same in AI and chat modes

alsa-plugins-pulseaudio was the offending package. Removing it brings everything to normal and flash still works. It was part of the adobe flash installation instructions ( http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Flash )
I guess is not always wise to follow the instructions :-)

Speak-14 works well for me on XO-1.5, F11 os116, Sugar 0.84.14. It speaks, answers robot questions, etc.
