Unlike liveusb creator, the image/writer tool doesn't allow to set persistence space under SOAS., this script has to be use in Gnu/Linux distros, not fedora flavored.
Here is the code

We're now recommending UNetbootin for Linux distributions other than Fedora. The image-write tool is only mentioned for Mac operating systems for Mirabelle and I haven't been able to find any other solution to create a persistent overlay on the Mac. I'm closing this for now.

Patches welcome! The script comes originally from the Moblin folks and lives here: http://git.moblin.org/cgit.cgi/moblin-image-creator/plain/image-writer
To stay with our upstream, the Fedora folks, it might make sense to see what we can do to the livecd-iso-to-disk script, though. This one lives here: http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/livecd?p=livecd;a=blob;f=tools/livecd-iso-to-disk.sh
If anybody wants to take on this one, I'd be more than happy to provide assistance. I won't be able to do this myself, though.
