Typing double quotes in Write 63 makes cursor disappear

Description
In the XO-1 running f11-xo1/os9 or 10/Sugar 0.84.7 Typing double quotes (")in Write 63 makes cursor disappear and typing stops. Repositioning the cursor with the mouse, allows typing again.
The log (attached) complains about gdk_window_set_cursor. This is with the default language (English) and any kind of font.
