Description
I find it to be a major issue that when i download something on the XO, there is no feedback of any kind. Yes, I can go into the Journal and check there, but I think it would be good if there was some kind of feedback or pop-up that shows up when a download is started, and then lets you open the download immediately from there rather than having to go into the Journal which can sometimes cause lag issues.

As you indicate, you do see a progress bar for a download in the Journal (say you're downloading a horrendously massive activity like Tux Paint), but Browse shows 2 pop-up alearts, one as the download starts, and one when it completes. Can you provide a little more information on where you'd like to see some kind of feedback? Perhaps Browse (or any activity) should trigger a frame notification when a dialogue alert is shown and you don't have that window focused?
