Description
Please support the new release of upower. This changes a number of api features, a rough list is at http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/devkit-devel/2013-October/001519.html . gnome, kde, and xfce have already patched themselves, and since gnome depends on the new api, most OSes are having to delay gnome 3.12 while waiting for sugar.

Tested Sugar 0.106 with UPower 0.99.2 and it worked fine; battery icon is in frame and does show remaining capacity.
The only reference to UPower is in sugar:extensions/deviceicon/battery.py DeviceModel which uses the D-Bus service as API to UPower.
I guess I don't understand the problem; I think this ticket can close.

Did regress on Ubuntu 16.04 with UPower 0.99.4, battery icon was not showing a changing capacity.
(there was no sign of distributions delaying gnome while waiting for sugar)
