I'm Rubén Rodriguez, Trisquel (TOAST) main developer.
Where are you going?: Sugar Camp Lima Nov 2011
What do you need covered? Airfare
If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful? No
If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also let us know if you have specific time restrictions.
I couldn't get confirmed details until the tickets are actually booked. My last search for a plane from Vigo (VGO) to Lima with an stop at Madrid, dates 14 to 20 showed an estimated cost of 780€
Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can travel? No
What will you accomplish by going on this trip? Help with the overall Sugar deployment project in Peru. I'm already working to make a TOAST image for this project (which should become the official image for Sugar entering Trisquel as an official edition), and I hope that getting to know the places -and machines- it will be used in, and the people that will extend it, could help improve the software and the documentation.
