Restarting X session shows Gnome login screen

Description

Observed on Fedora-16-Nightly-20111006.08-x86_64-Live-soas.iso installed to a USB disc with livecd-iso-to-disk.

Upon restart after adjusting control panel items, the undersea wallpaper persists with a busy cursor.

/home/liveuser/.xsession-errors contained the following:

Window manager warning: 0 stored in GConf key /desktop/gnome/peripherals/mouse/cursor_size is out of range 1 to 128
** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (HippoCanvasBox)
Window manager warning: Invalid WM_TRANSIENT_FOR window 0xa01ced specified for 0xa01d2e (sugar-sess).
Window manager warning: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on display ':0'.

Restarting X works in Fedora-16-TC1-x86_64-Live-SoaS.iso; however, it first shows the Gnome interface with the undersea wallpaper and offers to login the Live User Account, which should be avoided, and was in the past (see #294).

Switching ticket title to reflect this remaining problem.

Testing with Fedora-16-Nightly-20111025.10-x86_64-Live-soas.iso shows the problem persists with this build.
