XoPhoto-7 CPU loop after stop

Description
XoPhoto was run, and after it was quit using the stop button, and was no longer visible on the frame or by alt/tab, top(1) showed an XoPhoto process was consuming 95% of CPU time. Consequences would be much reduced battery run time.
Workaround: restart Sugar with ctrl/alt/erase.
Log available.
Versions: XO-1.5 HS with os850.
