view source should ignore ~ files

Description

I am not sure how I didn't ever notice this in the past and perhaps it is less of an issue for non-developers, but view source should not display backups of modified files automatically generated by editors such as emacs. These files end with a tilde: e.g., foo.py~

I've not looked at the source code yet, but I suspect that it is a trivial patch.
