Sliderule 5 crashes on launch in Sugar 0.84.7 (XO-1/F11)

Description
Sliderule crashes and quits immediately after it gets to the application screen (as soon as the ruler appears). This is on XO-1 running F11-XO1/os9 with Sugar .84.7

Same failure occurs trying to launch sliderule-5 from XO-1.5 build 46 (with Sugar 0.84.7-1.fc11.6). Same failure occurs trying to launch sliderule-5 from XO-1 build 802 (with Sugar 0.82.9-3).
