#120 closed enhancement (wontfix)

Convert source package tarball names to lower-case

Reported by: nirbheek Owned by: erikos
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: Sugar Version: 0.83.x
Severity: Minor Keywords:
Cc: Distribution/OS: Unspecified
Bug Status: New

Description

With the ongoing reorganisation of git repositories to a more consistent naming scheme (especially for activities), it would seem prudent to extend the consistency to source tarballs as well.

Example:
activities/

browse/

browse-110.tar.bz2
browse-120.tar.bz2

read/

read-65.tar.bz2

sugar-base/

sugar-base-0.90.tar.bz2

.
.
.
etc. Or something similar.

This would, of course, apply only to newer packages to prevent existing links from breaking.
