We have been helping on the zh-TW translation of XO Sugar and
recently tried the Sugar live USB. It's quite nice to see now Sugar
can work on various notebook PCs. Just that although the POs have been
kept quite up-to-date, there's no CJK font packages installed. So when
switching the locale, people will only see square boxes. There are
several reasons that OLPC decided not to include CJK fonts for now
(CJK is not of the primary distribution target as well the storage
size issue for usual CJK fonts), but these should not be problems for
Sugar live USB. Not to mention that "google-droid-fonts" which
containing quite complete CJK characters has been included in Fedora
10(?) and it's of only ~3.x MB unpacked size. Would it be possible to
include this package in the future release of Soas?
